Visual Translation – A class project I initiated, which dealt with visual and textual translation of a given text. We had a foreign exchange student in our class, who could not read the Hebrew text given as a starting point for a project. She asked for students’ help in translating the text, and I decided that her request would be my starting point. The text was broken down into words, each printed on a blank page with its English translation and pronunciation. Each student had to visually describe the words given to him. The result was a visual and textual translation that functioned as a mini-exhibition.
